Utility Service Providers in Pasco, Hernando and Hillsborough Counties
Elevation Home Inspection, owned and operated by Todd Sweetland, is a Florida-licensed home inspection service. From time to time, we may provide our clients with a list of independent contractors, construction companies, repair companies, remodeling companies, specialty trades, or other service providers (collectively, “Service Providers”) as a courtesy and convenience to assist clients in locating companies that may be able to address conditions or items identified during a home inspection.
NO ENDORSEMENT OR GUARANTEE. The inclusion of any Service Provider on a list provided by Elevation Home Inspection does not constitute, and should not be interpreted as, an endorsement, recommendation, certification, warranty, guarantee, or representation by Elevation Home Inspection regarding the Service Provider, its qualifications, licensing, insurance, experience, reputation, fitness for a particular purpose, quality, workmanship, materials, financial condition, pricing, availability, timeliness, results, or ability to perform any particular work.
INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTIES. All Service Providers listed are independent third parties and are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, representatives, or subcontractors of Elevation Home Inspection. Elevation Home Inspection does not supervise, direct, control, or participate in the work performed by any Service Provider. The inclusion of a Service Provider on any list provided by Elevation Home Inspection does not create any obligation for the client to use that provider, nor does it constitute a guarantee that the provider is qualified, available, properly licensed or insured, or capable of performing the requested work.
NO FINANCIAL INTEREST OR COMPENSATION. Elevation Home Inspection does not receive referral fees, commissions, kickbacks, compensation, gifts, rebates, or other remuneration from the Service Providers for providing their names or contact information to clients. Elevation Home Inspection does not have an ownership or financial interest in any Service Provider listed, unless expressly disclosed to the client in writing.
CLIENT'S INDEPENDENT DECISION. The decision to contact, obtain an estimate from, or hire any Service Provider is solely the client's decision. Clients are encouraged to independently investigate and verify the Service Provider's licensing, insurance, qualifications, references, experience, pricing, permits, warranties, and contractual terms before entering into any agreement.
SEPARATE CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP. Any agreement for construction, remodeling, repair, maintenance, or other work is solely between the client and the Service Provider. Elevation Home Inspection is not a party to that agreement and has no responsibility for negotiating, administering, supervising, inspecting, approving, or guaranteeing the work performed by the Service Provider.
NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY WORK. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elevation Home Inspection shall not be responsible or liable for any act, omission, representation, warranty, defect, delay, cost, injury, property damage, loss, dispute, claim, or other consequence arising from or relating to the services, products, materials, workmanship, or conduct of any Service Provider, including disputes concerning the quality, completion, cost, or performance of services.
The fact that a Service Provider's name appears on a list provided by Elevation Home Inspection does not create any agency, employment, partnership, joint venture, contractual, fiduciary, or other relationship between Elevation Home Inspection and that Service Provider, nor does it create any obligation on the part of Elevation Home Inspection concerning the Service Provider's performance.
CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT. By accepting or using a list of Service Providers provided by Elevation Home Inspection, the client acknowledges that the list is provided solely as a convenience and that the client is responsible for independently selecting and contracting with any Service Provider. The client further acknowledges that Elevation Home Inspection has not guaranteed or warranted the services or performance of any Service Provider.
Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to waive, release, or limit any right, remedy, or liability that cannot legally be waived, released, or limited under applicable Florida or federal law.
